Make sure that the product or service is in demand. This seems obvious but many companies end up going out of business because they were selling something that not enough people wanted. Another important point to make is that you don’t want to be speculating on whether the product or service is going to be popular in the near future. It must be something that is popular now. Of course, you would hope that it would also continue to be in demand in the future, but you should make your decision based on what you see happening in today’s market.
The product or service should stir up some emotions.
